Age Limit: These shows are designed for ages 14 and OLDER.
PLEASE respect our other guests and bring children 13 and UNDER to our Afternoon “kidshows“.
Magic for Grown-Ups
* PLEASE NOTE: Children are NOT chosen to come up on stage in the evening shows. *
WHY the age limit? The evening shows are designed to be a “night out” for adults. However they are “family friendly, so young teens (13 and older) are welcome. The content and subject matter of the evening shows include things that the younger children might have a hard time understanding, or even find boring! The evening shows include: Magic History, Gambling techniques, sleight of hand demonstrations, mentalism (mind reading), while the “kidshows” are much more interactive, visual and silly. Absoulutely NO unacompanied minors are allowed at any of the shows. And equally important: The kidshows are 45-60 minutes long, whereas the eveing/adult shows can run as long as 2 hours.
IMPOSSIBLE THINGS
Our original show, which lead to the opening of our theater! It was first performed on the road, later at “The Close Up Room” (a small private theater) and became our award winning show at Cosmo’s Magic Theater.
Sleight of Hand, a little history and “Mentalism”!
The show is an account of Cosmo’s evolution from a 5 year old, performing his first trick for his kindergarten class mates, to a full time world class sleight of hand performer. Cosmo demonstrates sleight of hand with playing cards, coins, and other items and touches on his new passion for mentalism, which is a fancy term for mind reading and such.
OUT OF OUR MINDS
After presenting our first show “Impossible Things” for over 3 years, Cosmo debuted this new show in June of 2022 as a celebration of the theater’s One Year Anniversary to RAVE REVIEWS!
An extra boost of mentalism!
The response to the mentalism done in our first show prompted Cosmo to write a whole new show with a lot more of this, mind reading style of magic. While still featuring world class sleight of hand, you’ll experience mind reading demonstrations and even influence the outcome based on YOUR OWN THOUGHTS and input!
RANDOM ACTS OF MAGIC
In this show, Cosmo allows the AUDIENCE to choose what effects (a more sophisticated term for “tricks”) are performed from a long list of choices! Cosmo works on magic daily, constantly tweaking OLD CLASSICS as well as creating NEW EFFECTS along the way. After rehearsing new effects and they become “show ready” he’ll add them to the ever changing menu for the audience to choose from!
This show is always changing!
Since the audience chooses from a list that is more than can be performed in one show, there are always many tricks that may not get chosen from one week to the next.
